Sponge Bob Birthday Card

This card has many many layers.  I would recommend coloring with a marker where you can.  Example: the holes in Sponge Bob total 11 tiny pieces.  I got out my markers and colored the holes as well as his lashes.  I also colored his shorts.  Color and assemble all before attaching the top yellow layer.  That will make things much easier when assembling.  I hope my niece likes her birthday card.  She loves Sponge Bob.

Minnie Mouse

I love the colors and the design of the paper.  Minnie is just so cute!

Cricut Cardz Challenge- V-Day Card.....Princess and the Frog

I made this card to post for a princess challenge and forgot to post it.  Story of my life...
A day late and a dollar short...lol

Minnie and her gumball machine

This card was inspired by Momo...I loved her idea of using acetate on the gumball machine.

Fox...

Our new addition to the family is my dad's new dog.  His name is Fox and he is a Pomeranian.  He is my dad's retirement gift.  My mom had to get him something to keep him off of the couch and the remote out of his hand.  lol...

Flourish Heart

Dance, Dance,Dance

Birthday card for my dad.  I did not realize that I did such a terrible job of cropping... and I had my glasses on...lol

Embossed Butterfly...

Did I say I love my Gyspy?  Birthday card for my cousin.  Her sorority's colors are red and white.

Playing with my new toy....

I ordered a Gypsy from CricutMachines.com for a great great price.  They Gypsy plus 7 cartridges cost less than $100.00.  I think it was 70 or 80 bucks.  I just don't remember the exact price.  I was up at 5am just ready to play with it.  My play time was slowed due to an issue with registering it. I was getting very frustrated but I got it registered.  I started to buy one last year but purchased a netbook instead since I had DS and SCAL.  I like my netbook but I am going love my Gypsy.  The features are more in line with what SCAL offers and I will not have to repeatedly change out the cartridges to cut.  Love it!

After work today...

I feel a little guilty because as soon as I arrived home from work, I changed my clothes and headed directly to my craft room. I did pick up the girls from friends\family houses.  They had the day off due to MLK Day. I did not stop in the kitchen to cook or eat.  My husband ordered Chinese  food (THANK GOODNESS...LOL).  I have barely had a conversation with the girls or my husband since I came home. The only thing on my mind was to finish my cupcake card.  I have finished and posted the card and now I am going to clean up my craft room and go spend some quality time with my peeps.  Until next time....

Scappy Moms-Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Gate fold card...I captured the best picture I could of the card.  The card looks better in person.  The colors are more vibrant, you can see the sparkles and the sprinkles\dots on the cupcake are in 3-D.  I will ask my husband for the 1000th time to change cameras with me...lol

E.A.D Design's January Color Challenge

I had a lot of fun making this tri-fold shutter card.  Just as people say, it is an easy card to make but time consuming.  The majority of the time is spent designing it.  I think it came out very cute.

On my way with jazzing up my blog...

Thanks to Minta at http://mintascreations.blogspot.com I am on way my to jazzing up my blog.  It is not quite what I want but it looks nicer than it did.  I will keep adjusting and playing with it until I get it just right.  I did not get to finish my card for the Colour Challenge today.  I did start it on Thursday. We are big Steeler Fans in my house so we had to watch the game and of course cook tailgate food.  Congrats to the Steelers.... I will finish it tomorrow and post it.  I hope I am able to create what I see in my vision.  Sometimes what I see is not what my project reflects....fingers crossed. lol

Jazzing Up my blog...

Hopefully my daughter and niece wil assist me this weekend in jazzing up my blog. Everyone's page looks amazing. Is Photoshop being used for the designs? If yes, I have Photoshop element but I have not yet mastered it. I guess I will be forced to put in Photoshop time. LOL....
